For Today...

I got the idea for this post from The Simple Woman's Daybook.

FOR TODAY
Outside my window...I see blue skies with puffy white clouds flying by. It is a very windy day and the siding on the house is a creaky mess.

I am thinking...of the weekend. With the project from hell going on at work I need a break.

I am thankful for...the ability to work from home today.

From the kitchen...I need to go grocery shopping and do some cooking this weekend.

I am wearing...my favorite purple shirt from this winter and yoga pants.

I am creating...nothing. This project from work is killing any creativity I have and I don't want to do anything.

I am going...to do as little as possible this weekend and catch up on some sleep. Need to get little boy a haircut and new shoes so we will end up doing a few things!

I am reading...nothing right now. Have some books coming from Barnes and Noble on Monday. In the box will be the new J.D. Robb!

I am hoping...that spring is on it's way soon!

I am hearing...nothing. The quiet is lovely!

Around the house...things are a mess and my mother is coming next Wednesday. I don't want to do anything this weekend but I will be doing some cleaning!

One of my favorite things...is my Kindle. Love, Love, Love it. Feels weird to read "real" books.

A few plans for the rest of the week: grocery shopping, resting, laughing with my guys, getting outside to play.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...check the next entry down. I love the photo of little boy on the beach last November. It was a beautiful morning that was surprisingly warm. The water was cold but he insisted in getting wet anyway!

This was the first time I was inspired to participate! Had fun and got a little carried away with the 'stroke' function. It was an accident on one layer that I really liked so I just went with it. Helped break up some of the pink around the guys!
