Leaning Dragons

This is one of my favorite funny stories of this past summer. We were at Dan Nicholas park and Alec wanted to do one of the paddle boats. He picked the dragon one with only two seats so I was left on-shore to take pictures. I love how the boat is leaning!

Snow!

This past Monday we had a pretty big snowfall for us...6 inches deep. Then we had a nice layer of ice on top of that. Monday and Tuesday were snow days where we stayed home but by Wednesday we were finally getting out of the house and back to work. The snow is mostly gone from our side of the street but still hanging around our neighbors yards on the other side of the street. Here are a few pictures that I took while we were outside on Monday.

I was a guest CT!!

Vicki from A Work in Progress Designs sent out a newsletter that invited the first 10 folks to respond on her Facebook page for a guest CT spot. I was the first person to respond and got to work with this great Kitchen Capers kit. Here is my layout about the awful time I had trying to make butter toffee over the Christmas break.

There is more I could have changed about the layout but for some reason I flattened the .png file and could not go back and tweek it anymore.
